About the player
Jay Enem was born in Amsterdam and came up through the Ajax academy, having arrived there in 2016 after spells at AFC and AZ Alkmaar as a youngster. He stayed until 2022, and his only senior football in the Netherlands came in two appearances for Jong Ajax. A move to Venezia FC that summer saw a single appearance for the Serie A club send him out on a string of loans instead, first to Vis Pesaro, then to Ethnikos Achna in Cyprus, and on to PAC Omonia.
He has scored once in two league appearances since.
He has instead spoken of wanting to represent Turkey, saying "Milli takımda oynamak istiyorum," though no call-up has followed.
