Jorge Herrando Oroz

Jorge Herrando Oroz came up through Osasuna's academy in Pamplona, signing his first professional contract with the club in December 2017 before he had even played a senior game. He spent the following years with the reserve side, Osasuna Promesas, making 94 appearances and scoring eight goals between 2018 and 2023.

His first taste of the senior side came in the Copa del Rey in December 2020, though it took until May 2023 for him to make his La Liga debut, after he had returned to Osasuna in the summer of 2022. Since then the left-footed defender has become a fixture in the squad, passing 60 La Liga appearances. Osasuna have shown their long-term faith in him with a contract running to 2030, tied to a release clause of €20 million.

The high point of his career so far came with Osasuna's run to the Copa del Rey final in the 2022–23 season, when the club lost out to Real Madrid; Herrando was part of the squad for that campaign, though he did not feature in the final itself. At international level, he was capped four times by Spain's under-18 side in 2018 and 2019, and more recently made his debut for the Basque Country representative team in a friendly against Palestine.
