About the player
Jean-Tryfose Mambuku took his first steps in the game at the age of eight with FCF La Neuvillette-Jamin, a club he has called a "small French society", before moving into the Stade de Reims academy in 2017. He worked his way up through the youth ranks there over the following years.
His breakthrough came this season. Mambuku made his debut for Reims B in 2025–26, scoring once in 20 appearances, and that form was enough to earn him a promotion to the senior squad within the same campaign. He has since made six appearances for the first team in Ligue 2. The club has shown its faith in him by tying him down with a contract running until 2029.
Born in Turin, Mambuku has built his international career with Italy's youth sides, having represented the U15, U17, U18 and U19 age groups. He has already amassed 19 caps for the U17s and seven for the U18s.
