Jack William Stacey

Jack Stacey transitioned from the Reading academy to become a regular starter at Norwich City. He joined the Reading youth system at the age of eight. After signing his first professional contract in December 2013, he was prompted by a series of loan moves to gain first-team experience.

His development was accelerated through spells at Barnet, Carlisle United, and Exeter City, where he accumulated significant playing time. However, it was his permanent switch to Luton Town in 2017 that marked a genuine turning point. He played at Kenilworth Road, making appearances over two seasons. His form there earned him both the club’s Player of the Season and Young Player of the Season awards, alongside a place in the EFL League One Team of the Season. This consistent performance caught the eye of AFC Bournemouth, who secured his signature for £4 million in July 2019.

At Bournemouth, Stacey adapted to the demands of the Championship and, subsequently, the Premier League following their promotion in 2022. He made appearances during his four years at the Vitality Stadium, contributing with one goal. In May 2023, he moved to Norwich City on a three-year deal, bringing his experience to Carrow Road.

While he has not earned senior caps for England, his journey from a young academy prospect to a Championship regular highlights a career built on resilience.
