About the player
Jasper van Heertum spent six years in PSV Eindhoven's academy before the club let him go in 2013. He broke into senior football there, making five appearances before Telstar picked him up on a free transfer in 2017. Over two seasons at Telstar he made 51 appearances and scored twice.
He signed with De Graafschap, again without a fee, in 2019.
In 2022 he left the Netherlands for Bulgaria, joining Botev Plovdiv on a free transfer, where he also featured for the club's second team during the 2024/25 season. He spent a period without a club before FC Den Bosch brought him back to Dutch football. He has made five appearances for Den Bosch so far.
Van Heertum has not collected any team honours or individual awards over the course of his career, and he has never been capped by the Netherlands at any level. Right-footed and standing 191 cm tall.
