Jakov Blagaić

Jakov Blagaić came through the ranks at NK Adriatic Split before moving into the HNK Hajduk Split academy in 2011, and it was there that his career took shape. He progressed through Hajduk Split II, where he made 40 appearances and scored 11 goals, and won the Croatian First League Junior title with the club in the 2018–19 season. Nine senior appearances followed for Hajduk Split between 2019 and 2022, interrupted by loan spells at NK Olimpija Ljubljana and NK Široki Brijeg, the latter yielding 25 appearances and a goal.

The move that did most for his career came in 2022, when he joined FK Borac Banja Luka. Over two seasons there he made 40 appearances and scored seven goals, and his form contributed to Borac's Bosnian Premier League title in 2023–24; the club also reached that season's Bosnian Cup final, finishing as runners-up.

In July 2024, Blagaić moved to Polish Ekstraklasa side Puszcza Niepołomice on a free transfer, making 22 appearances and scoring once in the 2024–25 season. A year later he switched to Romanian football, joining FC Argeș Pitești on a free deal in July 2025, and made 19 appearances in the 2025–26 campaign.

Internationally, Blagaić has represented Croatia at every youth level from U16 to U20, collecting 12 caps and a goal for the U19 side, though a senior call-up has not yet followed.
