About the player
Jiří Zima came through Pardubice's own academy, moving there in 2021 after starting out at FK Chlumec nad Cidlinou and RMSK Cidlina Nový Bydžov. He worked his way up through the club's youth ranks, playing for the U17 side before stepping up to the U19 team, where he scored five goals in twelve appearances.
Zima also spent time with Pardubice's reserve side in the 3. ČFL, contributing three goals in seventeen outings, before making his senior debut for the first team in the Chance Liga. He has since added a further league appearance and one outing in the MOL Cup, though he is still waiting for his first senior goal.
