About the player
Joas Vikström arrived at FF Jaro by way of winter training. The forward from Larsmo had been playing for the local club LBK in the Kolmonen, Finland's third tier, and it was his showing in Jaro's winter sessions that led to a contract. The club described the deal as a direct signing, not a loan.
LBK was where his senior career began. He played for the club through the 2024 and 2025 seasons, so his first men's football came in the lower divisions, close to home.
The 2026 season has been busy. Vikström has made 28 appearances for Jaro across all competitions. In the Veikkausliiga he has played 17 matches, scoring no goals and providing one assist. His goals have come elsewhere. In Kakkonen Group C he scored four times in five matches, and he added one goal in two Finnish Cup games.
