About the player
Jorge Roberto Díaz Price grew up in the youth ranks of Atlante before moving to Yalmakan and then joining Club León's academy in the Clausura 2017. He made his first-team debut the following year, and that debut season ended with recognition as the Best Rookie of the Clausura 2018 tournament.
A loan spell took him to Everton de Viña del Mar in Chile between 2020 and 2021, where he made 24 appearances before returning to León. Spells at Yalmakan and Cancún FC followed, and he joined Toluca in January 2026.
The move to Toluca produced the standout moment of his career. Coming on in the 88th minute of the CONCACAF Champions Cup final against Tigres, Díaz Price scored in extra time to help force a penalty shootout, which Toluca won 6-5 after the match had finished 2-2. Toluca went on to win the Leagues Cup as well, beating Monterrey 2-0, though his part in that final is less clear. The club's run of silverware was not unbroken: Toluca lost the Campeón de Campeones final 1-3 to Cruz Azul.
Díaz Price has not been capped at senior level by Mexico.
