Kenan Kodro

Kenan Kodro was born in San Sebastián and came through the Real Sociedad academy after starting out at Antiguoko. A free transfer took him to Pamplona in 2014, and from there his career became a tour of leagues: Mainz 05 in Germany, a loan spell at Grasshoppers in Switzerland where he scored seven goals in 14 appearances, then a move to FC Copenhagen.

His move to MOL Fehérvár in 2021 turned into the most productive scoring spell of his career. He finished as the second-highest scorer in the Hungarian Nemzeti Bajnokság I in the 2021–22 season with 15 goals, then was joint third the following campaign with 13. He won the league title in his first half-season at Ferencvárosi TC.

Loan spells followed at Gaziantep FK and, since September 2025, at Real Zaragoza, where he scored a hat-trick in January 2026 and has made 34 appearances with 8 goals for the club.

Internationally, Kodro represented Bosnia and Herzegovina, making his senior debut in March 2017 against Albania. He went on to earn 15 caps and score twice, against Gibraltar and Bulgaria, before retiring from international duty in September 2023. He and his father, Meho Kodro, were the first father-son pair to both play for the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team.
