Kostadin Iliev

Kostadin Iliev went up with Montana and came down with them in consecutive seasons. In 2024/25 he made 35 league appearances and scored twice as Montana finished second in the Second Division. The following season he played 31 league matches and scored two more goals, but Montana finished 16th, last, and went back down.

Over three seasons at the club, which he joined in July 2023, he passed 100 appearances.

His route there was a long one. He was in the Ludogorets Razgrad U19 side in 2017/18, then moved to the Levski Sofia academy, where he played for the U17 and U19 teams. He made his senior debut for Levski in June 2020 and played once in the league that season and once the next. A loan to Drenovets brought a single Bulgarian Cup appearance.

In July 2021 he signed for CSKA 1948 Sofia. He spent time with the reserve side in the Second Division and played four First League matches for the senior team in 2021/22. A year later he moved to Strumska Slava, where he played 28 Second Division matches, the run of games that preceded his move to Montana.

On 28 May 2026 he returned to CSKA 1948 on a free transfer, signing a contract until 30 June 2029. In the 2026/27 season he has played three times for the club, for 210 minutes, and has been booked twice.
