He signed from Ceará, closing a short stay there and opening a new one in the north of Brazil, and took up the number 5 shirt for the 2026 campaign.

His path through the game runs almost entirely through São Paulo state and the centre of the country. He came through at Flamengo before a string of loans took him to Duque de Caxias, Boavista, Rio Claro and Santa Cruz. Corinthians then took him on, and it was there, between 2018 and 2021, that he collected the honours that still stand out on his record: back-to-back wins in the Campeonato Paulista. Loans to Bahia and Cruzeiro punctuated that period, giving him experience in different dressing rooms before he settled at Cuiabá for three seasons.

Ceará followed, a brief stop before Remo moved for him. What he offers instead is size and continuity: a defender who has rarely stayed more than a few seasons in one place, but who has consistently found a role in the back line wherever he has gone. At Remo, he now takes on a number more usually associated with midfielders in recent squads, wearing it as a central defender.
