About the player
Mohamed-Amine Bouchenna made history at Clermont Foot 63: signing his first professional contract in November 2022, he became the youngest professional player in the club's history. He joined Clermont's academy as a free-transfer signing in July 2021, and his first-team debut arrived in Ligue 1 against Monaco in May 2024, part of a run of around nine senior appearances for the club without a goal to his name.
He did not start that final.
His development took a decisive turn in September 2025, when he was loaned to SC Austria Lustenau for the 2025–26 season. In the Austrian 2. Liga he found the form that had eluded him in Ligue 1, scoring seven goals and adding an assist across 23 appearances as Lustenau won the title and secured promotion to the Bundesliga. Clermont rewarded that spell by extending his contract to June 2030, and he returned to the club once the loan ended in June 2026. Back in Ligue 2 for the 2026–27 season, he has made four appearances so far, playing 230 minutes without a goal or assist.
