About the player
Jereko is a captain who wears the number of a squad player. She leads the Kenya women's national team while turning out for HB Køge in the Kvindeliga. Her football began at Mombasa Olympic before Thika Queens FC, where she finished as the league's top scorer between 2018 and 2021.
The move to Turkey raised her profile considerably. At Hakkarigücü Spor she scored 11 goals in her first 17 matches and was made team captain. That form carried her to the NWSL in August 2024, when Kansas City Current signed her; she made four appearances for the club and won the NWSL x Liga MX Femenil Summer Cup with them that year.
Her switch to Denmark came as a loan in July 2025, when HB Køge Women brought her in for the 2025–26 season. Eight appearances into the loan spell, the club moved to make the deal permanent, signing her to a two-year contract in November 2025. She has since become a key figure in HB Køge's Women's Champions League campaign.
