Márk Koszta

Koszta returned to Hungary in June 2026, joining Vasas SC as a free agent after his contract at Hapoel Petah Tikva expired — the latest stop in a career that has taken him well beyond the Hungarian top flight. Born in Miskolc, he came through the youth ranks at Putnok, Kazincbarcikai SC and Budapest Honvéd before breaking into Honvéd's first team, where he won the NB I title in the 2016/17 season and scored six goals in 31 league appearances. That campaign also produced one of the signature moments of his career to date, a hat-trick against Debreceni VSC.

After Honvéd, the left-footed forward moved through Mezőkövesd Zsóry, Újpest and Zalaegerszegi TE, where he scored 19 goals in 53 appearances. That form took him abroad in March 2022, when he signed for Ulsan Hyundai in South Korea and won the K League 1 title the same year.

Koszta's career since has taken in Torpedo Moscow, a loan spell at Maccabi Bnei Reineh in Israel — where he scored 12 goals in 47 appearances and struck another hat-trick, against Sketzia Nes Tziona — followed by Volos in Greece and Hapoel Petah Tikva. At international level, his caps have come exclusively at youth level, with 14 appearances for Hungary across the U17, U18, U20 and U21 sides between 2012 and 2017.
