Mika Schröers

Twenty goals in 35 third-division appearances is the line that persuaded Alemannia Aachen to spend their €150,000 purchase option in April 2026. The forward arrived on loan from Arminia Bielefeld in August 2025 for a single season; by the spring the club had committed to him until 30 June 2029. He added eight assists across that campaign, and after a hat-trick against SV Sandhausen readers of liga3-online.de voted him Player of the Matchday.

The route to that point ran almost entirely through one club. Schröers played for SV Thomasstadt Kempen and TSV Wachtendonk-Wankum as a boy before Borussia Mönchengladbach took him into their academy in 2012. He came through the U17 and U19 sides and made his senior debut for the reserve team in 2020. The first team called on him once, in 2021, and he stayed on the bench.

His contract in Mönchengladbach expired in the summer of 2024 and he moved to Bielefeld on a free transfer. He was part of the squad that won the 3. Liga in 2024/25 and went up to the 2. Bundesliga, and that took the Landespokal Westfalen in the same season. The loan to Aachen followed in August 2025.

Schröers uses both feet. He has one cap for Germany at U18 level and none for the senior side. The 2026/27 season has opened with three appearances, a goal and an assist.
