About the player
Maksym Zaderaka came up through FC Oleksandriya's youth system before moving to Metalurh Donetsk, where he signed his first senior contract in 2010. When Metalurh released him as a free agent, he found regular football at Stal Kamianske before a return to Oleksandriya in 2018.
His time abroad brought success: at Ararat Yerevan he won the Armenian Cup in the 2020/21 season before heading back to Ukraine to join Metalist 1925 Kharkiv. At Kryvbas, he settled into consistent form — the Ukrainian Premier League named him Player of the Month for September 2023, and he picked up a Player of the Round award in the third round of the 2025–26 season.
Zaderaka's international experience is limited to a single cap for Ukraine's under-20 side in 2013. Every move across his career, from Metalurh to Stal, Stal to Oleksandriya, Oleksandriya to Ararat, Ararat to Metalist and on to Kryvbas, came on a free transfer, with clubs never having to pay a fee to bring him in.
