Maicon Jesus

An injury opened the door. When Vitória lost first-choice left-back Jamerson, the loan signing who had arrived from Atlético Mineiro in April 2025 became the club's answer on that flank.

Maykon Kesley de Jesus Ramalho came into the game late by Brazilian standards, joining the academy at Retrô Futebol Clube Brasil in Pernambuco in 2020. A year later Atlético Mineiro took him into their youth system, where he worked through the U-16 and U-20 sides until 2024. He has been an Atlético player ever since.

His first professional football came on loan at Noroeste between January and April 2025: eleven matches in the Campeonato Paulista and two assists. The move to Vitória followed, and with it his first minutes in the Série A — four appearances, plus one in the Copa do Nordeste. Reports at the time mentioned a purchase option in the deal, though no figure was made public.

Novorizontino presented him on 15 January 2026, again on loan from Atlético Mineiro, this time running to 31 December 2026. The number 66 shirt has given him the most consistent run of his career: six matches in the Paulista, where he scored his first senior goal and added an assist, then eighteen in the Série B with one more assist. That is roughly 44 senior appearances in total, one goal and three assists — a modest return, but the volume of football is the point at this stage.

He has spent every professional season so far away from the club that owns his registration.
