About the player
Nehemiah Fernandez came through Paris Saint-Germain's academy in Ligue 1. He joined the club in 2017 after starting out at AAS Sarcelles, signed his first professional contract in June 2022, and spent two seasons training and travelling with the senior squad while never making a league appearance for them. His football was played out with the PSG U19s instead, where he was a regular in the UEFA Youth League and won back-to-back Championnat de France U19 titles. As a registered professional in those years he is also credited with two Ligue 1 titles and a Trophée des Champions.
He made twenty league appearances for Dunkerque, scoring once, between September 2023 and June 2025.
Nancy signed him on another free transfer in June 2025.
Internationally, Fernandez has been a fixture of France's youth set-up, moving through the under-16s, under-18s, under-19s and under-20s, though a senior call-up has yet to follow.
