About the player
Oskars Vientiess spent the early part of his career close to home, coming through the youth ranks at FS Metta in Riga before making his senior debut there in September 2019. He grew into a leadership role at the club, wearing the captain's armband and playing a part in helping Metta avoid relegation in both 2022 and 2023.
In 2025 he moved to FK Liepāja, making 14 appearances and scoring once in the Virslīga. Chrudim exercised their purchase option that June, reportedly paying Liepāja €75,000 for him.
Internationally, Vientiess has represented Latvia at U17, U18 and U21 level, making his U21 debut against Poland in September 2022. His first senior call-up came in October 2023, for matches in Skopje, though he has not yet added a senior cap to his record.
