About the player
At FC Eindhoven , Owen Renfrew's route to the first team ran through the club's own academy, where he spent seven years before making the step up for the 2025/26 season. His debut arrived on 17 August 2025 against Willem II, when he was sent on as an extra-time substitute. Two months later, on 11 October, he made his first start, away at Emmen.
The breakthrough season established him quickly as a regular fixture at the back: 23 appearances in the Eerste Divisie plus a cup outing, all without troubling the scoresheet. That changed in the following campaign. On 10 August 2026, Renfrew scored his first senior goal, the only one of the game, as Eindhoven beat Jong AZ 1-0.
Off the pitch, the club moved to secure his future in January 2026, tying him down with his first professional contract through to the summer of 2029. Renfrew also has international experience through Suriname, for whom he played once at Under-20 level in 2024.
