About the player
Frankowski left Poland at 24 to test himself in Major League Soccer, joining Chicago Fire in January 2019 on a deal built around Discretionary Targeted Allocation Money. He made 63 league appearances there and scored 10 goals.
In August 2021, RC Lens signed him from Chicago for a fee in the region of €2.3–3 million. He put pen to a five-year contract, later extended to 2028, and went on to make 122 league appearances for the club, scoring 18 goals.
In February 2025, Galatasaray took him on loan with an obligation to buy, a package worth around €8 million in total. Frankowski won both the Süper Lig and the Turkish Cup with Galatasaray in the 2024–25 season.
In August 2025, he moved on loan to Stade Rennais for two seasons, again with an obligation to buy, in a deal reported to be worth around €12.5 million in total.
Frankowski's route to the top began at Lechia Gdańsk, where he broke into the first team in 2012 after coming through the youth ranks.
At international level, he has earned 51 caps for Poland and scored three goals, against North Macedonia, Latvia and Estonia.
