About the player
Patrycja Sarapata finished the 2025–26 Ekstraliga season as the league's Midfielder of the Season and its second-highest scorer, with 15 goals. Those goals came from midfield, and they came in a season that ended with Czarni Sosnowiec winning the Polish title.
She grew up in Wysoka, near Wadowice, and began in local leagues in the area. From there she moved to SWD Wodzisław Śląski, and in the summer of 2023 she signed for Czarni Sosnowiec. Her debut for the club came on 19 August 2023, so the title was won in her third season there.
Her progress through the national youth ranks was steady: she has played for Poland at U17, U19 and U23 levels. The senior call-up followed, and she made her debut for the national team on 24 October 2025. By May 2026 she had seven caps and one goal, all in qualifiers for the 2027 FIFA Women's World Cup, including matches against the Netherlands, France and Ireland.
Those games came in the same season as her best league form.
