About the player
Pedro Henrique Santos Gomes has never worn another club's badge. He joined Criciúma's academy in 2023 and has stayed there ever since, working his way up through the youth ranks rather than arriving as a signing from elsewhere.
The Sub-20 side is where he built his name. Pedro won the Campeonato Catarinense Sub-20 with Criciúma in both 2024 and 2025, and in the second of those campaigns he was elected the competition's best player. He also helped the youth team through to the semifinals of the Copa São Paulo de Futebol Júnior in 2025.
He was promoted to the professional squad in January 2025, though his path to senior football took shape gradually. Pedro's first appearances for the first team came as a substitute in the Campeonato Catarinense in 2026. The turning point arrived when Criciúma's first-choice goalkeeper was injured, and Pedro was handed the gloves as a starter in the Série B.
Born in Patos, Paraíba, Pedro is right-footed and, at 194 cm. He has yet to add a senior trophy to his collection or receive a call-up to the Brazilian national team.
