Recep Niyaz

Recep Niyaz left his home-town club Denizlispor for Fenerbahçe in 2010, after seven years in Denizlispor's youth system. He stayed in Istanbul until 2015, but his first-team football came elsewhere. He was loaned to Bucaspor for the 2013–14 season and to Samsunspor the year after.

His youth career had already brought international recognition. He played for Turkey at every level from under-15 to under-19. In 2013 he was in the under-19 squad that won silver at the Mediterranean Games, and he also took part in that year's UEFA European Under-19 Championship.

In August 2015 he returned to Denizlispor on a free transfer and said he wanted to cut his ties with Fenerbahçe. A year later he moved to Çaykur Rizespor, where he spent two seasons. In July 2018 he went back to Denizlispor for a second time, and this became his most productive spell. He stayed until May 2021 and scored 18 goals for the club.

He then joined Gaziantep FK on a free transfer in July 2021. He left in August 2022 for Eyüpspor, where he spent three seasons. He scored seven times in 49 appearances for them.

In July 2025 Niyaz signed for Erokspor, again on a free transfer.
