Roman Evgenyev

Roman Evgenyev came through Dynamo Moscow's academy after starting out at Spartak Moscow, and by 2016/17 he was playing for the reserve side, Dynamo-2 Moscow. He made his first-team debut in 2018, and within a couple of years had grown into a key figure in Dynamo's defence, captaining the side on occasion — including in a match against Lokomotiv in November 2020.

His time at Dynamo came at the end of his tenure there: the 2021/22 season brought a bronze medal in the Russian Premier League and a run to the Russian Cup final. When his contract expired that summer, Evgenyev left as a free agent rather than being sold, and signed for Krylia Sovetov Samara in July 2022. He stayed in Samara for four years.

In June 2026 he moved on again, this time to Pari NN, agreeing a two-year contract as a free agent once his Krylia Sovetov spell ended. At international level, he progressed through the Russian youth ranks — from the under-18s through to the under-21s, where he also scored a goal — before those two senior caps against Serbia opened his account with the first team.
