About the player
Ruslan Babenko came through Dnipro's own youth system before breaking into the first team in 2009. He stayed with Dnipro through 2015.
The following years took him across a wide range of clubs and countries. He came back to Ukraine with Olimpik.
The clearest mark on his career so far came with silverware rather than a single moment. In the 2021/22 season, Babenko was part of the Polessya squad that won the Ukrainian Second League title. The following year, at Dnipro-1, he added a runner-up medal from the Ukrainian championship.
