Sacha Delaye

Sacha Delaye joined Montpellier HSC's youth academy at the age of five and stayed there for well over a decade before working his way through the reserve side, Montpellier B, where he scored four goals in 25 appearances. His breakthrough came on 23 May 2021, when he made his professional debut in a Ligue 1 fixture against Nantes that Montpellier won 2–1. Over the following three seasons he added 23 more first-team appearances and a goal, with a loan spell at Le Puy Foot 43 in the second half of the 2022–23 campaign giving him 13 further games away from the top flight.

In July 2024 Delaye left France on a free transfer, signing a two-year contract with SC Austria Lustenau. He has settled into a regular role there, and by the following May had made 45 league appearances for the club, scoring three times. The most significant of those goals came on the final day of the 2025–26 Austrian 2. Liga season, against SKU Amstetten. With the title and promotion to the Bundesliga on the line, Delaye stepped up and converted the decisive penalty in the 64th minute, sending Austria Lustenau on to a 2–1 win that sealed the championship and the club's return to Austria's top division.

A right-footed attacking midfielder, Delaye has yet to earn a senior cap for France.
