Soner Dikmen

Soner Dikmen came up through Gençlerbirliği's youth ranks before a spell at Hacettepe, where he returned for his academy years and then began his senior career in 2012. He stayed there for five seasons, with a loan to Göztepe along the way, before moving back to Gençlerbirliği in 2017 on a free transfer. That second spell included further loan stints, at Hacettepe again and then at Kastamonuspor.

The move that shaped his career came in 2021, when he joined Konyaspor on a free transfer and was made team captain.

He has yet to add a major trophy or individual award to his career, and despite having made his interest known, a first call-up to the Turkey national team has not materialised. Every transfer of his career, from Gençlerbirliği to Hacettepe and on to Konyaspor and Antalyaspor, has been completed without a fee changing hands.
