About the player
She made 81 league appearances and scored 11 goals there, and won the Danish league title twice, in 2018 and 2020, along with a Danish Cup. She signed for AC Milan in July 2021.
In Italy, Thrige Andersen made 45 league appearances and scored three goals. She left in January 2024 to join PSV Eindhoven on a permanent deal.
Internationally, she made her senior debut for Denmark on 22 October 2016 against Iceland. She was part of the Denmark squad at UEFA Women's Euro 2022, appearing in one match, and was called into the 2023 World Cup squad as a replacement for Sofie Junge Pedersen, though she did not feature. At UEFA Women's Euro 2025 she again travelled with the squad, wearing the number 2 shirt, without getting minutes on the pitch. By January 2024 she had accumulated 27 caps for the national side.
