About the player
Santiago Postel came up through the Platense academy, making his debut in 2023.
In 2024 he joined San Miguel in Argentina's second tier, and last year he moved to Deportivo Madryn on a loan that ran from June to December. Postel was part of the Platense squad that won the 2025 Torneo Apertura .
January 2026 brought his first move abroad, with Deportivo Cuenca taking him on loan from Platense into Ecuadorian football. He has started all 13 of his Serie A appearances this season and racking up 1,046 minutes on the pitch.
