About the player
Severin Sabri Guendouz came through the youth ranks at Le Blanc-Mesnil Sport, Angers SCO and Entente SSG before Valenciennes brought him into their academy, where he made 16 appearances for the reserve side. A free transfer to En Avant Guingamp in 2020 put him into the club's reserve team in Championnat National 3, and it was there that he did his real developing, scoring 12 goals in 68 matches over several seasons before earning a first-team chance.
He left for K Beerschot VA in the summer of 2025 on another free transfer, and the move suited him: 33 appearances across the Challenger Pro League and the Belgian Cup, with three goals and seven assists in the 2025–26 season.
Born in Cambrai, Guendouz is of Algerian descent and holds dual French and Algerian citizenship, though he has not been capped at senior level by either country.
