Taylor Harwood-Bellis

Taylor Harwood-Bellis joined Manchester City's academy at the age of six and worked his way up to the first team, making eight cup appearances and scoring once before a series of loans took him around English and Belgian football: Blackburn Rovers, Anderlecht, Stoke City and Burnley, where he won the EFL Championship in 2022–23.

In September 2023 he moved to Southampton on a season-long loan that came with an obligation to buy for £20 million if the club won promotion. He made 40 appearances that season and started in the Championship play-off final against Leeds United, which Southampton won 1–0 at Wembley to seal a return to the Premier League. The buy clause was triggered and he signed permanently on 1 July 2024.

He has gone on to make 76 appearances for Southampton, scoring eight goals, and in 2025–26 he was named the club's Player of the Year.

Harwood-Bellis captained England at both U17 and U21 level, lifting the 2023 European Under-21 Championship after England beat Spain 1–0 in the final, and was named in the Team of the Tournament for that competition. He earned his senior England debut on 17 November 2024 against the Republic of Ireland in the Nations League, scoring at Wembley in a 5–0 win on his first appearance for the national side.
