About the player
Ted Söderström has spent his football life at one club. FF Jaro is the only team he has been part of, and he came up through its own academy rather than arriving from elsewhere.
The route ran through the club's older youth sides, first the U19s and then the U23s, before he reached the senior squad. That step became official on 1 January 2026, when he joined the first team on a contract that runs until 31 December 2026. Because he was promoted from within, no transfer fee was involved. He had not played for another senior club before his senior debut.
His international experience so far comes at youth level. He has won one cap for Finland at U16, in a friendly match, and did not score in it. He has not yet been capped by the senior national team.
The contract for 2026 covers his first season as a registered senior player at Jaro. His path there was through the club's own age-group teams, and it is the only professional route he has followed.
