About the player
Timofey Komissarov came through the academy at Chertanovo in Moscow and broke into the senior side in the Second League, scoring once in around fourteen or fifteen appearances during the 2024 season.
In February 2025 he moved to Chelyabinsk, where his role grew steadily. He scored twice in fifteen matches in his first season there, then stepped up to the First League in 2025/2026 and contributed two goals and five assists in 26 appearances as the club secured promotion, also featuring in the Russian Cup along the way.
That form brought a move to Nizhny Novgorod, who signed Komissarov from Chelyabinsk for a fee of €470,000 and handed him a three-year contract. He has already opened his account for the club, scoring in his First League debut.
Komissarov has also represented Russia at Under-21 level, earning four caps and scoring his first goal for the age group in a friendly against Iraq Under-23s.
