Tomás Durso

Tomás Durso came through the youth ranks at Gimnasia y Esgrima La Plata, joining the club's 'Fútbol Infantil' system as a boy and winning the Copa Integración twice, first with the 1999 category side in 2015 and then as starting goalkeeper of the 1998 category team the following year. He signed his first professional contract with Gimnasia in January 2021 and made his debut that April against Lanús, going on to establish himself as the club's first-choice goalkeeper in 2023.

In January 2024, Durso moved to Atlético Tucumán on a season-long loan with an option to buy, a deal struck without a fee. Tucumán took up that option a year later, acquiring half of his playing rights for 550,000 dollars and tying him to the club until the end of 2027. Having lost his place as starter, he was loaned out again in July 2025, this time to Unión de Santa Fe for a year on a free transfer, before returning to Atlético Tucumán at the start of 2026.

At international level, Durso represented Argentina's under-20 side and was part of the pre-selection squad that beat China 2-0 in April 2018, in which he started. He also worked as a sparring partner for the senior national team during the buildup to World Cup qualifiers that year, though he has not been capped by the senior side.
