Uroš Sremčević

Kragujevac produced Uroš Sremčević, a forward who left home for Mladost Lučani and pushed his way into the first team across three seasons, scoring four goals in 27 league appearances before Red Star Belgrade came calling. The move, in February 2024, was worth a reported €2 million — a record fee for a transfer between two Serbian SuperLiga clubs at the time.

He did not sit and wait once he arrived in Belgrade. Sremčević made eight league appearances in the second half of the 2023–24 season and scored twice, contributing to a Red Star side that went on to win the SuperLiga title. He was also included in the squad for the Serbian Cup final against Vojvodina, wearing the number 31 shirt, though he stayed on the bench as Red Star won 2–1.

Standing 186 cm tall and comfortable on either foot, he offers a physical profile that clubs have been willing to build around.

His progress has been most visible with Serbia's youth sides. He scored six goals in 11 caps for the U17s and has continued at U19 level, where he has one goal in 14 appearances. None of that has yet translated into senior international recognition.
