William Pottker

William Pottker finished as top scorer of Série A with 14 goals in 31 matches for Ponte Preta and took home the Bola de Prata as the competition's best player in 2016. A year later he added the top scorer and best player awards at the Campeonato Paulista.

Born in Florianópolis, he came through the youth ranks at Figueirense. Armenia's Gandzasar Kapan, Japan's Ventforet Kofu, and Portugal's Braga B all had him on their books before he settled anywhere for long. Internacional paid roughly 5 million reais for half his economic rights in February 2017 after a deal that also brought defender Fernando Boba the other way on loan.

At Inter he stayed three years, playing 108 matches and scoring 26 goals, with ten of those coming in the 2017 Série B campaign. In October 2020 he moved on again, this time swapped for midfielder Maurício in a deal with Cruzeiro, where he added six goals in 25 appearances. A loan spell in the United Arab Emirates with Al-Wassl followed before a run through Avaí, Coritiba, Atlético Goianiense and CRB brought him back to Brazilian football's middle tiers.

Pottker trained with Brazil's senior squad ahead of the 2019 Copa América after representing the under-18 and under-20 sides, though a first full cap never came. He returned to Ponte Preta in February 2026.
