Yaya Dukuly

Yaya Dukuly was born in Conakry, Guinea, to Liberian parents and moved to Australia at the age of one, later taking Australian citizenship. His path into the professional game ran through Adelaide's junior system, starting at Para Hills Knights SC and then the FFSA National Training Centre, before Melbourne City brought him into their academy in 2018. He worked his way through Melbourne City's NPL side and signed a senior scholarship there in 2019, though a first-team appearance never came.

A free transfer took him to Adelaide United in 2020, where he spent two seasons in the club's NPL and reserve setup. In 2022 he left Australia altogether, joining Stade de Reims B in France before he returned to Adelaide United in 2024 on a free transfer and signed a contract through to 2026. He would go on to leave South Australia again for Slovenia, joining NK Celje.

Internationally, Dukuly has represented Australia at youth level, from the under-17s through to the under-20s, and has since featured for the under-23 side. A left-footed right winger, his game is built on operating from the flank and cutting inside onto his stronger foot.
