Zalán Vancsa

Zalán Vancsa became, at that moment, the youngest player ever to score in the Hungarian Nemzeti Bajnokság I. On 22 August 2021, playing for MTK Budapest, he scored against Újpest. He had made his debut for the club only months earlier, in April that year, and went on to make 13 league appearances for MTK, scoring once.

In January 2022 he moved to Belgium, joining Lommel SK — now Lommel United, under City Football Group ownership — before finishing the season back on loan at MTK. His time at Lommel took a while to build, with 23 league appearances in his first full campaign, but the 2023–24 season was his breakout: 13 goals in 34 games in the Challenger Pro League, a place in Voetbal Primeur's Team of the Year, and Lommel's Player of the Month award in both January and March 2024. He also picked up a Man of the Match award against Beerschot that February.

Loan spells followed at Gent in the Belgian Pro League and at Roda JC Kerkrade in the Dutch Eerste Divisie, before he returned to Lommel for the 2025–26 season. That return proved decisive: Vancsa scored twice against RFC Liège in the promotion playoffs and struck the winning goal against Dender to send Lommel up to the Jupiler Pro League.

At international level, Vancsa has represented Hungary through the U15 to U21 age groups and made his senior debut in June 2022 in a UEFA Nations League match against Italy, coming on as a late substitute. His second cap arrived nearly two years later, in a friendly against Kosovo.
