Albirex Niigata S

NSG Global set the club up in 2004 as a satellite operation for Albirex Niigata, the club's own J1 League side in Japan. It joined the S.League that year as a foreign entrant, a status it has kept through the competition's later renaming to the Singapore Premier League.

No club has done better in the Premier League era. Six league titles between 2016 and 2023, four Singapore Cups and four League Cups in the same stretch, most of it built under Naoki Naruo. Kazuaki Yoshinaga followed that with back-to-back titles in 2017 and 2018.

The Swans have also worked as a pipeline: Adam Swandi and Shahul Rayyan, while Japanese internationals such as Tadanari Lee and Yohei Otake. Since 2023 the club has leaned into a localisation drive, and in 2026 it took the name FC Jurong, tying its identity more closely to the district while still lining up in the league as an invited foreign club.

It plays in front of 2,700 at Jurong East Stadium, in orange, blue and white, against a Tampines Rovers and Lion City Sailors rivalry that has no fixed derby name.
