Alliance Aischdall

Alliance Aischdall was formed on 30 March 2007, when CS Hobscheid and FC Olympique Eischen merged.

CS Hobscheid, founded in 1932, did the heavier lifting in the shared history: four titles in the Ehrenpromotion, the country's second tier, spread across 1962, 1979, 1984 and 2006, and three entries in the UEFA Intertoto Cup around the turn of the millennium. Olympique Eischen, older by fifteen years, got closer to a national trophy than its partner ever did, reaching the 1981 Coupe de Luxembourg final and losing 0–5 to Jeunesse Esch. Ahmed El Aouad, Luxembourg's Footballer of the Year in 2001, wore Hobscheid's colours the following season, by which point his best form was already behind him elsewhere.

Under the merged name there has been no equivalent silverware; the club has spent its life to date working its way through the lower divisions, currently the 2. Division. The yellow and blue shirts play out of the Stade Koericherberg, a ground built for a village of a few thousand rather than for cup nights, and its 2,120 capacity has rarely been troubled by anything more than local business.
