The club started as a cricket side, Cricketklubben af 1893, formed on 19 May 1893; football followed in 1896, and the name changed with it. A tenth claim, from the 1927–28 season, never came through: that campaign ended level on points with no title awarded, and when B.93 asked the Danish FA to recognise it retroactively in 2020, the request was turned down.
The trophies since have been rarer.
The stadium has been under reconstruction since 2024, pushing B.93 to play their home games at Sundby Idrætspark until the work finishes in 2026, when they are due to return to Østerbro.
