Barycz Sułów

Stadion Baryczy in Sułów holds around 1,000 people and gives the club its name of sorts — Barycz, after the river valley the village sits in.

LKS Barycz Sułów was founded in 1946 and has kept the same name since, playing in white and orange. That changed in 2023/24, when Barycz won the Lower Silesian Cup, beating KS Karkonosze Jelenia Góra on penalties after a goalless draw. In between, Barycz added the Lower Silesian Super Cup, beating Górnik Polkowice 2:1 with goals from Piotr Grzelczak and Dawid Onoh.

The club has sent few players onward, but Tomasz Gajowy and Mariusz Niedbała both moved on to Warta Poznań in the 1990s.

None of it means as much locally as the meetings with MKS Piast Żmigród. The two sides share the Barycz valley, and their games are known simply as the Derby Doliny Baryczy — the Derby of the Barycz Valley.
