Bibiani Goldstars

Bibiani Gold Stars is a club now known across the Western North Region as The Golden Boys. The gold-and-green colours trace straight back to its ownership, and the motto stamped on the club, "Gye Nyame", carries the same note of company pride.

The club's breakthrough came only in 2021, when it won the Division One League's Zone 2 and went up to the Ghana Premier League for the first time. In 2024–25 Bibiani Gold Stars were champions of Ghana, the first Premier League title in the club's history.

Vincent Atingah's arrival in late 2023 carried its own weight locally — he had captained Medeama SC, the club that gives Bibiani Gold Stars their fiercest fixture, the Western Derby. Ibrahim Laar's form in front of goal earned him the Ghana Premier League's Player of the Month award for November 2024, in the same campaign that ended with the title.

Dun's Park holds 7,000, a ground the miners' club still fills without a website of its own, running its match-day announcements through Facebook instead.
