British Virgin Islands

The A.O. Shirley Recreation Ground in Road Town holds 1,500 people, and when the British Virgin Islands play there, the team who take the pitch are known as The Nature Boyz.

The association behind them dates from 1974. It waited twenty years to join CONCACAF as an associate member, in 1994, and became a full member in 1996, the year it also joined FIFA. The first international came before all that: in October 1985 the side beat Anguilla 1–0, and they beat the same opponent 6–0 in 1990.

In the first round of 2026 World Cup qualifying they knocked out the U.S. Virgin Islands on penalties, the first time the team had reached a second round. The second round went badly: they finished bottom of their group without scoring.

The CONCACAF Nations League tells a similar story. Luka Chalwell scored the team's first goal in the competition in September 2023, against Bonaire. He has since collected 27 caps and five goals. The 2023–24 season in League C ended with a fourth-place finish in the group and relegation to League D. A 6–0 win over the Bahamas in 2025 came after that.

Kristian Javier holds the appearance record with 34 caps. Tyler Forbes is one behind him on 33 and has scored four goals.
