Cd Castellon U19

Pablo Hernández passed through the Castellón academy between 1997 and 2003, came back as a player for the 2021–22 and 2022–23 seasons, and now holds two jobs at once: head coach and co-owner.

The Juvenil A side, the club's under-19 team, belongs to the Fundació Albinegra, the foundation that runs the academy. Its daily work happens away from the city, at the Ciudad Deportiva José Manuel Llaneza in Vila-real, where the team trains and plays some of its matches. League games and official occasions are held at Castalia, the ground the first team uses. Its shape gave the club its second nickname: Orelluts, Valencian for "big-eared ones". The first is Albinegros, after the black and white stripes.

The academy has supplied the first team in recent years. Hugo Goñi, Iñigo Córdoba, Juanjo Nieto and Sergi Torner all moved up from it.

The Juvenil A side won promotion to the División de Honor Juvenil, the top tier of Spanish youth football, in 2024. It has also entered the COTIF, the international youth tournament, in 2021, 2023 and 2026. The club's women's team won the same tournament in 2021, which the men's Juvenil side has not managed. Neither has it won the national División de Honor Juvenil championship.
