Dumbrăviţa

Dumbrăvița sits just north of Timișoara. CSC Dumbrăvița took shape there in 2008, filling the gap left by Top Alumino Timișoara, and started life in Liga IV of Timiș County.

This one did. The county title arrived in 2018, promotion to Liga III followed, and four seasons later, in 2021–22, Dumbrăvița won Seria VIII outright and went up to Liga II for the first time. It has stayed there since, finishing as high as 13th in 2022–23, the club's first taste of national football at that level.

Cosmin Stan took over in 2021, the season of the Liga III title, and stayed through the club's early years in Liga II.

Home games are played at Stadion Ștefan Dobay, a 1,000-seat ground named after a Romanian footballer born in the commune. The colours are white and green, and the club is known locally as Dumbrăvițenii.
