Emre Yetimoğlu came up through the youth side at Sportpark Zuid.

The supporters' association still carries the name GeelZwart.

The club has not always been called DVS'33. In 1956 it became SV Ermelo, and it stayed SV Ermelo for two seasons before a split in 1958 produced a separate club, EFC'58.

Titles have mostly come from the district and the amateur divisions — champion in 1943 and again in 1946, then the Hoofdklasse C in 2015. But the result people in Ermelo bring up is from the first round of the KNVB Beker in 2021–22, when Vitesse came to town out of the Eredivisie and left beaten 2–0.

The Derby van de Veluwe is played against VVOG from Harderwijk.

Ground capacity is given as 5,000 at Sportpark Zuid.
