The closest Enskede's women have come to a trophy was an afternoon in 1992, when they reached the final of the Svenska Cupen and lost it 1:2 to Älvsjö AIK.

The women's section dates from 1974, sixty years after the wider Enskede IK came together in July 1914 out of a merger between Enskede IF and Bollklubben 1913.

Enskede IP, on Enskedevägen in the southern suburbs of Stockholm, holds around 1,000. The badge was redrawn in 2024.

One name carries further than the rest. Magdalena Eriksson was at Enskede until 2008, before the Sweden caps and before she captained Chelsea. Further back, Matte Werner finished as the top scorer in the Swedish top flight in 1979.

The team now plays in Elitettan and enters the Svenska Cupen each season.
